What we don't have

Ok I'll bite. What have I got to lose, my job? Maybe if that happens I'll just go sign up for one of all the many many many jobs that Mitch says he's brought to the state. But of course those don't pay enough to pay the bills, so I guess I sure do hope this is legit and I don't lose my job. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have some JDD mess to clean up everyday.

I am sorry to see the old blog go. But I agree that it was a good thing and got people talking. We all still have to hide in the shadows though. I've been in DOC for more than 15 years and Ive never seen the administration treat employees as bad as this, like no one and nothing they have matters. "Appreciation week" what a joke! Same with the spot bonuses: they go to a few favorites. I guess. I guess if the supt knows you and you kiss enough butt?? But if just do your job like your supposed to, a bonus isn't for you. That's ok, I just want people around me doing their jobs. But it makes people sore when they see bonuses going to some people and for what? It doesn't motivate them it just makes them angrier.

But that isn't what I wanted to post about. Wow, RSM would be all over me for COMPLAINING wouldn't he? The last thing I read on the blog yesterday was about Pam Cline and what a good leader she was for the department. I didnt know her or work for her, but whoever wrote that described what kind of LEADERSHIP we don't have in the department right now. That is what we need in a commissioner and all the executive staff and superintendents too. I hope when we DITCH MITCH IN NOVEMBER that we will get some people back in charge!
